The first Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge open-air tram tour of 2024 is scheduled for Saturday, March 2, from 9-11 am. Reservations are required.

The refuge is home to hundreds of birds and other wildlife. Turtles, Great blue herons, alligators, black bears, bobcats, red wolves, kingfishers, river otters, the list goes on and on. Up to 25 people can ride the tram. During the ride your guide will share the history of the refuge. And he’ll identify plants and wildlife as we see them.
