By on February 27, 2024

AA OBX or Alcoholics Anonymous Outer Banks is District 93, which serves the AA community on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, including Corolla, Duck, Southern Shores, Powell’s Point, Moyock, Grandy, Coinjock, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, Manteo, Wanchese, Frisco, Buxton, Salvo, Waves, Rodanthe, and Hatteras. Alcoholics Anonymous | Outer Banks (aaobx.com).

Most of our groups meet once or twice a week although we have a group in Kill Devil Hills that meets twice a day six days a week.  The AA hotline is 252-256-0850.

AA was founded in 1935 by Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob in Akron, Ohio. The only requirement for AA membership is a desire to stop drinking. We have found the path from the darkness into the light.
