This was posted by the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island in the early afternoon of Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Have you seen this manatee? The OBX Marine Mammal Stranding Network is searching for a manatee that is injured. It has healing propeller wounds near its tail and was last seen near Kitty Hawk Bay yesterday, October 29.

    On a hopeful note this Manatee should be eating well as there is a bumper crop of Widgeon Grass along the Kitty Hawk shoreline.
