A Tribute to Teddy

Gentle, handsome, and deeply affectionate, Teddy had a way of winning over everyone he met. Despite his tough appearance, he was remarkably sweet-natured and friendly with every person and animal he encountered. Friends, coworkers, and strangers alike often remarked that he was truly one of a kind.

Teddy became the unofficial office mascot and therapy dog, faithfully accompanying his mom to work where he greeted everyone with his signature little growly hello, head tilted to the side “like he was chewing on a cigar.” He loved cuddles from coworkers, long naps in the sunshine, belly rubs, and cozy movie nights in bed with the people he loved most.

More than anything, Teddy will be remembered for his gentle soul, loyal companionship, and the quiet comfort he brought to everyday life. His family takes comfort knowing that the frightened shelter dog who once hesitated at every doorway spent the rest of his life deeply cherished, safe, and adored. He leaves behind a home that feels much emptier without him, and a love that will remain forever.

(The Outer Banks Voice invites anyone who has lost a beloved pet to submit a tribute that we will post on our site and on social media.  The Outer Banks Voice – Pet Tributes)
