Kitty Hawk Police report missing person

This missing person alert was posted on Facebook by the Kitty Hawk Police Department on the afternoon of Friday, Aug. 7.

Timothy Bateman missing and no contact with family as of 6:30 p.m. on 8/6/26,

Last seen heading SB from the Harris Teeter in KDH wearing a white shirt and black Buccee’s swim trunks. Last known location via phone ping was in the woods behind Kill Devil Hills Harris Teeter at 9:00 a.m. this morning Friday, 8/7/26.
