Video explains the Dare County Schools Hatteras Satellite Location Plan

At the Aug. 10 meeting of the Dare County Board of Education, Dare County Schools (DCS) Superintendent Steve Basnight presented the plan establishing four satellite learning centers on Hatteras to provide in-person instruction on the increasing number of days when conditions on NC12 mandate school closings. The Outer Banks Voice – DCS identifies satellite learning sites on Hatteras.
