Coastal Humane Society kicks off Fall Vaccination Clinics with Roanoke Island Animal Clinic on Sunday, September 13th at Good Dog Retreat

Mark September 13th on your calendar and take advantage of this opportunity to keep your pets protected and healthy for another year. Dr. Burkart from Roanoke Island Animal Hospital is the Partner Clinic Veterinarian for this Coastal Humane Society Vaccination Clinic, Sunday, September 13th, 11-2 in front of Good Dog Retreat in Manteo.

  • No appointments are needed. Our clinics are popular so families should be prepared to wait. It first comes, first served, but it’s worth the wait!
  • The vaccination package for dogs includes Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella vaccines for a total of $36. Heartworm testing is available for $20. The package for cats includes Rabies and FVRCP vaccines for $23. Vaccines are priced individually so families can choose whether they want the package for their pets or just some of the vaccines.
  • Payment must be by cash, check, or Venmo. Families must bring their dogs to the clinic on leashes and their cats in carriers.
  • Can’t make this Vaccination Clinic? Plan to attend the next one at Martin’s Point Veterinary Hospital on October 24th or aim for the Sound Veterinary Hospital’s clinic on November 28th.

The Coastal Humane Society began in 1997 as an all-volunteer non-profit organization helping everyone in the Outer Banks community care for their pets. Twenty-nine years later – thanks to the generosity of our community – the organization has helped over 13,000 Outer Banks pets maintain their health and stay together with their people. Programs include low-cost spay/neuter, vaccinations, medical assistance, heartworm testing, pet food and supplies in the wake of hurricanes and other community-wide emergencies.
