Kevin D. Everton

Kevin D. Everton, age 77, of Grandy, NC passed away August 25, 2026 after a brief illness.

Kevin was a veteran of the US Marines during the Vietnam War Era.  He was also a retired electrician and a faithful member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church of Grandy.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Gale Everton of Grandy; two daughters, Janel Everton Moore (Mike) of Waynesboro, VA, and Elizabeth Barker (Eric) of Milwaukee, WI, three granddaughters,  Brianne Moore, and Naomi and Lily Barker;  one grandson,  Michael Moore, and one great granddaughter,  Stella Moore.

The family has honored Kevin’s preference for the simplicity of cremation and plans for a private service are pending at this time.  Please share condolences with Gale and the family via the on-line register at www.gallopfuneralservices.com.
