The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Outer Banks Health Internal Medicine, a new practice located at 5531 N. Croatan Highway in Southern Shores.
Chamber Board Chair Melissa Harrison welcomed Chamber members, board representatives, SPARC Committee members, and community supporters who gathered to mark the occasion. Lynne Miles and the Internal Medicine team cut the ribbon, and Cathy Yablonski, President of Outer Banks Health, spoke on behalf of the organization.
Outer Banks Health has cared for this community for decades. The new Internal Medicine practice extends that care into a growing part of adult medicine focused on managing chronic conditions, catching problems before they become urgent, and building the kind of long-term physician-patient relationships that pay off over a lifetime. The team has built its practice around that approach, and the new space gives them room to serve more patients across the northern beaches.
