18th Annual Throwdown Surf Classic

The 18th Annual Throwdown Surf Classic returns to Southern Shores on October 10, bringing young surfers, families, and the community together for a day of fun and competition.

Presented by the Throwdown Youth Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the event features surfers ages 5–18 competing in 15 heats for boys and girls. The first heat is scheduled for approximately 8:00 a.m., and concludes with an awards ceremony celebrating the stoke of the day.

All proceeds raised through food, merchandise, and the silent auction will support the Outer Banks Relief Foundation and its efforts to support those going through difficult circumstances in our community. For questions, email throwdownsurf@gmail.com.
