“The idea is to bring together a lot of the things that make the Outer Banks special in one place,” said Jonathan Dorner, Operations Manager at Village Beach Club. “Surfing is at the center of it, but it’s also about the artists, musicians, makers, historians, nonprofits and local businesses that make up this community. We want The Last Swell to feel like an OBX event made by the people who live here.”
