Beach driving season delayed in KDH by nor’easter impact

Due to the impacts from the recent nor’easter, the Town of Kill Devil Hills beach driving season has been delayed until further notice. Additionally, beach driving permits will NOT be sold until the beach driving season begins. Staff is working diligently to improve beach conditions, remove debris, and to make driving safe. Updates will be shared once the beach driving season opens and permits are available for purchase.

Reminders: The Kill Devil Hills beach driving season typically runs from October 1 through April 30. Kill Devil Hills beach driving permits are ONLY good for the Town of Kill Devil Hills beach.
