No injuries in major Colington Pointe condo fire

Multiple responders from Southern Shores to Roanoke Island helped battle a fire at a four-unit condo building in the Colington Pointe subdivision that began on the afternoon of Thursday Aug. 24. According to Lt. Andy Creech of the Dare County Sheriff’s Department, all residents of the building were safely evacuated and there were no significant injuries. Full story

Vibrio may have caused 2nd Dare County death
