Ella-Rae Reese is a rising FFHS women’s soccer star

Ella-Rae Reese discovered her love for soccer at age seven when she began playing with the kids in her neighborhood in Brambleton, Virginia. Last season, as a freshman Forward/Winger on the varsity women's soccer team at First Flight High School (FFHS), she was the only Division 4A freshman to earn All-State honors, and was named Conference Player of the Year.

After winning the first game of a playoff doubleheader on Sunday July 26, the Outer Banks Swinging Mullets’ season came to an end with an 11-1 loss to the Edenton Steamers in the nightcap.
In its first season as the latest version of the summer collegiate baseball franchise on the Outer Banks—one which began in 1997 with the Outer Banks Daredevils—the Swinging Mullets helped reinvigorate the sport here.
