The National Weather Service reports that severe weather with flooding is possible in Eastern North Carolina during the afternoon and evening hours on Friday, Aug. 28.  The storm could bring damaging wind gusts, strong and severe thunderstorms and flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas.
